FEATURES
  • PTC thermal ceramic heating elements have special functions of constant temperature, temperature regulation and self-controlling temperature. When an AC or DC voltage is applied to the PTC element, the resistivity is very low below the Curie point temperature, and the temperature rises quickly. Once the Curie point temperature is exceeded, the resistivity suddenly increases, causing its currency to drop to a stable value. To achieve the purpose of automatic temperature control and constant temperature, no additional temperature control circuit device is needed, and the Curie temperature of the PTC element can be adjusted by formula according to different temperature requirements.
  • Non-burning, safe and reliable
    The PTC element does not turn red when it is hot, and there is no open flame (resistance wire is red and open flame), and it is not easy to burn. When the ambient temperature of the PTC element exceeds the limit, its power automatically drops to an equilibrium value, and there is no danger of burning.
  • Long-life
    PTC elements are oxide ceramics, without the high-temperature oxidation disadvantages of nickel-chromium wires, and without fragile phenomena such as glass quartz tubes, and have a long life.
APPLICATION
  • PTC components can be used under low voltage (3-36 volts) and high voltage (110-380 volts).
  • Low-voltage PTC components are suitable for various low-voltage heaters, low-temperature compensation of instruments, and various heaters for automobiles.
  • High voltage PTC components are suitable for heating the following electrical equipment: shoe dryers, hot melt glue guns, rice cookers, electric shoes, electric mosquito repellents, steam combs, steam generators, humidifiers, curlers, vending machines, wind Curtain, hand warmer, tea dryer, beauty device, bottle thermostat, etc.
PRECAUTIONS
  • 1. The PTC heating plate has the characteristics of automatic constant temperature. It does not require a temperature control system, and the PTC heating plate can be directly energized.
  • 2. When the PTC heating plate is used to heat a liquid (such as water), the PTC heating plate will not be damaged after the liquid is dried.
  • 3. If the PTC heating plate is used to heat cold air, the PTC heating plate will not be damaged when the air is not supplied.
  • 4. There are four types of electrodes for customers to choose: chemical nickel plating + silver, meltblown metal aluminum, printed aluminum + silver, printed aluminum.
  • 5. Long life, use under a normal environment, life can reach more than 10 years.
  • 6. Reliable work uses the internal characteristics of the PTC heating plate to control temperature, never over-temperature.
  • 7. The working voltage is very wide. When the operating voltage changes twice, the change in surface temperature is very small.
  • 8. There is no lead wire and insulation layer for this product. Customers also choose products with wire and insulation layer, or products with a shell.
  • 9. When multiple PTC heaters are used together, they should be connected in parallel, not in series.
  • 10. Different heat dissipation conditions make the heating power of the PTC heating element very different.
